The Doors – L.A. Woman

A few months before Jim Morrison's death in Paris saw the release of L. A. Woman, the Doors' most blues-influenced album. To the the most successful single release was Love Her Madly, written by guitarist Robbie Krieger, whose His girlfriend regularly threatened to leave him. The Rolling Stone judged the song to consist of the best Chuck Berry reefs since the Stones. The same magazine also calls L.A. Woman the best Doors- Album, including the debut.
