  • Soundgarden is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal album "Superunknown" with a new LP edition of the milestone, consisting of two 180-gram vinyls in a fold-out cover featuring the 16 tracks from the original double LP.

    "Superunknown" is considered Soundgarden's masterpiece. With it, the Seattle grunge band redefined alternative rock in 1994 and set a new course in music history.

    The album tracks "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman" won two Grammy® Awards in 1995. "Superunknown" was also nominated in the Best Rock Album category. It has been awarded five times platinum status in the US and has sold around nine million copies worldwide, making it Soundgarden's most commercially successful album. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine included it in its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and placed it among the 100 Greatest Albums of the Nineties.
