  • Originally recorded over three sessions with Jack Endino at Reciprocal Recording Studios in Seattle in December 1988 and January 1989, "Bleach" was released in June 1989 and since then has been at the top of Sub Pop's personal list of best songs without contradiction or surprise. The album got another boost in the slipstream of the second NIRVANA powerhouse "Nevermind", which was released in 1991.
