    Dogrel are the rough rhymes of Irish docks, factories and early houses. The lyricism of the common man. More Brendan Behan than Bono. Dogrel is also rock and roll. At its best. Snotty and angry. But also yearning and romantic.

    Recorded last autumn with producer Dan Carey (also Kate Tempest), one premise runs like a thread through the album: lived authenticity. Fontaines D.C. already attracted attention last year with "a whole battalion of great singles" (musikexpress), and are already considered by many to be the newcomer of 2019.
