Crippled Black Phoenix - The Wolf Changes Its Fur But Not Its Nature

Part one of the special release is the album “The Wolf Changes Its Fur But Not Its Nature”, the collection of re-worked and re-recorded CBP songs from the distant past. The album title is a reference to the time spent with Invada Records for the first five years, and four albums. Although it’s almost impossible to choose which songs to pay respect to and make a new version of, This selection of tunes is a representation of how the band has played them as a live band. Some songs have changed a lot and some have remained as the original but have a new power to them, so having the chance to capture new re-worked versions of “classic” CBP songs is one not lost. The good and close friends, old and new, as guests, add extra righteous power to the recordings.
